Perth, Australia, February 18th 2015
Fordia, a global provider of industry-leading core drilling solutions and a preferred supplier for drillers, is happy to announce that it will now be offering Matex drilling additive products to its customers in Australia. The agreement, signed earlier this month, provides Fordia with the exclusive distribution rights for the entire line of Matex products for the Australian market.
Control Chemical Corporation is a leading provider of environmentally safe drilling fluids and lubricants under the Matex brand name. Their product line includes drilling polymers and foams, tool lubricants, blast hole stabilizers, thread compounds, hydraulic oils, antifreeze fluids, wire rope lubricants, and other drilling additive products. Fordia has been a distributor of Matex products in North America and other regions for over 30 years.
“We are thrilled to offer Matex products to our Australian customers. Matex makes it easy for drillers to improve their productivity. Their “Fab Four” products, Torqueless, DD-955, Sand Drill, DD-2000, are simple to use and address the majority of challenges found on drilling sites,” said Carl Younger, Fordia’s regional manager for Australia. “The products can improve drilling conditions by reducing torque, vibration and the chance of equipment being overworked. As a result, drillers spend less time in the hole, recover core samples more easily and increase their penetration rates. When you combine all that with the expertise and knowledge our technicians bring to a customer’s site, you have a winning combination for reducing costs,” he added.
