FORDIA specifically designs the locking couplings with an infiltrated tungsten carbide pads for the same degree of hole stabilization as a reamer. The performance of our couplings is comparable with "welded pads" technology. However, tungsten carbide pads last longer and protect the hole size if the reamer loses its gauge, preventing the driller from reaming down undersized holes on re-entry.

We can also offer you standard lockings with metallic pads. We also offer Standard (spot welded) locking coupling as well as Hexagon (full-hole) locking couplings.
