It was designed with the input of industry principals and contractors in the exploration sector. This versatile drill can be utilized on the surface as well as underground with minimum retrofitting – minimizing the capital cost for organizations that offer both services. Aside from the numerous technical aspects, perhaps the kmB.4’s most attractive feature is its greater depth capacity to weight ratio delivered through its aluminum conception. This lightweight design reduces the number of helicopter moves. The power pack is constructed in a two-piece configuration for transportation; it also facilitates simple changing of the power unit to suit either drilling application.
