We have multiple roles to fill in our Entry Level, Field Engineer - Wireline Operator (OreSight) roles. These roles are based across the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

About the Role:

This dynamic field-based role involves the safe operation and ongoing maintenance of our flagship service, OreSightOreSight is a revolution in the automated collection of geological data, which positively impacts safety, quality and productivity outcomes for our major mining customers! 

  • The vehicle you will operate is Semi Autonomous.
  • Primarily used in a Pit/Production Mining Environment
  • As the Operator, you will responsible for hitting the required KPIs per day, troubleshooting any problems that may arise, communicating back to support team, and overall ongoing maintenance of the vehicle.

We are seeking a range of attributes and experiences from a variety of backgrounds for these Entry Level positions. We want to hear from you if the following sounds like you! 

  • Logical and methodical in approach to undertaking tasks
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and mechanical equipment and systems
  • Responsible, and able to work autonomously in remote locations
  • Conscientious and able to follow written plans and instructions
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and escalate issues for resolution
  • Well organised with a high level of self-motivation and discipline
  • Well- developed communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Well-presented and professional conduct
  • Truck driving and 4WD experience in various terrains including steep terrain and gravel - an advantage
  • Eager to grow with a United and Inspired Company long term.

Applicants must: 

  • Be able to pass initial and on-going Drug and Alcohol screening
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical
  • Have the Right to Work and Live in Australia
  • Provide up to 2 professional references
  • Have a minimum of a Manual MR Drivers Licence

  • Extensive training off-site (operation of vehicle, specialist equipment), followed by on-site training and required client inductions
  • Site roster of 2 weeks on, and 1 week off
