Schramm Powered by Epiroc Completes First End-to-End Capital Equipment Order
Schramm Powered by Epiroc recently delivered a T685 reverse circulation (RC) drilling rig to a customer in Australia—a successful sale that seemed typical on the surface. However, this delivery was different for a significant reason; this rig was ordered, built, and delivered completely by Schramm Powered by Epiroc. It is the first end-to-end rig build for the evolving company.
Other Schramm deliveries this year were commissioned before Epiroc acquired Schramm, part of a large backorder of machines awaiting completion. This delivery represents a new beginning for Schramm Powered by Epiroc.
Although much has changed for the company, much remains the same, like Schramm’s commitment to producing the best reverse circulation drilling equipment in the industry, and the fact that all Schramm Powered by Epiroc equipment is built in Australia.
Dean Hamson, Epiroc Product Manager, says, “Schramm Powered by Epiroc will continue to build rigs at our facility in Welshpool, Australia. For 2025, we are targeting eighteen (18) rig builds.”
