Hero 8 has officially launched!
The Exploration and Geosciences PC is happy to announce the launch of a new diamond core bit. The Hero 8 was officially launched at PDAC 2025 and now joins the very popular line of Hero core bits. This new product was developed to fulfill the specific need in the market for a bit that excels in medium-hard to hard ground conditions with a Mohs hardness rating of 5.5 to 7, such as granite and gneiss. It follows our tradition of tailoring core bits for specific ground conditions and drilling challenges is the ideal choice when a Hero 7 is not enough and a Hero 9 is too much.
The Hero 8 represents the culmination of extensive research, development, and rigorous testing. It has undergone extensive field testing, yielding exceptional results in terms of penetration rates and durability. These tests have confirmed that the HERO 8 offers superior performance, making it a valuable addition to our portfolio.
