Continued Success as the Changzhou Exploration PC Achieves Epiroc Flow Certification and ISO Triple Certification in the Same Year

We are proud to announce another milestone for Fordia as the Changzhou PC successfully achieves the Epiroc Flow level 1 certification. This occurred only a few months after the PC was ISO triple certified and follows the Montreal PC’s level 1 certification this past summer.
Epiroc Flow is a production and management improvement system with three levels of certification. The goal is to position the production department at the center of change by involving the support functions.
The process is a challenging one with auditors touring the production departments and support functions as they verify that all Level 1 criteria are being met. Areas of interest include:
· General operations of the department
· How meetings are organized and what information is shared
· How new ideas are developed and how existing ones are followed up
· How 5S has been implemented and maintained
The auditor was impressed by all the Changzhou employees' involvement in the program and their commitment to reach company targets and KPIs. He also recognized the difficulties the team faced, including a change in personnel, increases in production volume, heavy rain incident, and more.
The next steps for the Changzhou team will be to stabilize all the changes and improvements. These successes provide the team with confidence in their abilities to achieve EPS Level 2 certification.
