A look back at Discoveries tradeshow

The 2024 Discoveries Mining Conference celebrated its 10th anniversary from May 21 to 23 at the International Center in the port city of Mazatlán, Mexico. This prestigious event focuses on mining exploration, innovation, and development, drawing over 50 distinguished speakers, more than 2000 attendees, and over 150 exhibiting companies.
Epiroc proudly participated in this global conference, showcasing our innovations. Our exhibit featured Orebody technologies and solutions through the Epiroc, Fordia, and Corescan partnership.
Drawing inspiration from our success at PDAC, our booth prominently displayed our brand message, "Accelerate the Transformation." The visual theme was present alongside a comprehensive range of exploration equipment. By coming to our booth, attendees were shown the Christensen CT20 and Fordia line of drill bits, both of which received considerable attention. Moreover, Corescan solutions and exploration drill pipes were highly praised for their productivity and cost efficiency as Corescan showcased its dual geoscience lines in mineralogy and geophysics, along with downhole survey capabilities using KLS.
I am proud to say that throughout the tradeshow, the team and I emphasized Epiroc’s dedication to innovation, commitment, and partnership with our clients across Mexico. We demonstrated these values by dressing in baseball t-shirts branded with the Epiroc logo, a fun nod to the area's emblematic sport. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in making this event a resounding success!
