Why is Geophysical Logging Services called KLS?
Back in June 2021, Epiroc acquired a great company named Kinetic Logging Services. The letters KLS, a choice that was then quite a logical acronym, became the financial reference for this fantastic product line.
The actual name "Kinetic Logging Services" is only being used within Australia as it is a legal entity with which we already have long-term contracts.
We embraced our new commercial identity, Geophysical Logging Services, a proud part of the OreBody Solutions business line within the Surface division as it describes what the service offers. Yet, KLS remains our financial reference.
Yes, it might seem like a confusing three letter code! But now you too, can decipher it and appreciate the history in another one of our creative financial acronyms.
