Schramm Powered by Epiroc has achieved key strategic objectives during its ongoing integration with Epiroc SRD, highlighted by a new leadership team, facility improvements, and successful part number implementation for AirDrill Hammers & Bits.
Safety and Leadership
The leadership team has been fortified with the appointment of Melinda Addison as General Manager and Dom Ciullo as National Sales Manager, Hammers & Bits. Their experience and leadership will expedite the integration and drive growth of capital sales and tooling.
Under the new leadership team, we have initiated a comprehensive Safe Start roll-out program to ensure a successful transition. The roll-out emphasizes SHEQ standards, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all employees.
Part Numbers & IT Success
Part numbers for the entire product line of AirDrill Hammers & Bits are now fully integrated into the Epiroc system, enabling ease of access and widespread availability to customers and vendors. At the same time, our IT integration efforts have been completed, ensuring systems are aligned and operational across the combined entity.
Product Line Integration
Our marketing team has identified a range of Schramm products that will be incorporated into the Market Offering (MO) process, supported by the SRP Team. At the same time, standard operating procedures are molding with Epiroc processes. This ensures a cohesive approach to our product offerings and maintains the high standards our customers expect.
Strong Market Demand
We are experiencing a robust flow of orders for rigs, hammers, and bits, demonstrating strong market confidence in our expanded product line. Sales of RC Hammers and Bits in Australia are performing exceptionally well. We are exploring potential opportunities to expand these sales internationally, capitalizing on our global reach.
Factory and Capacity Improvements
Facility improvements are currently underway at the rig production facility in Perth, with the aim of increased production volume by 2025. Additionally, a comprehensive capacity review for the Hammers & Bits facility is under development as part of our long-term strategy to meet growing demand and enhance operational efficiency.
We are proud of the progress in the integration thus far and will provide another update in the coming months. For questions or marketing materials, please contact Nick Christenson, Communications Specialist, Schramm Powered by Epiroc, at Nicholas.christenson@epiroc.com.
