One of the events we all look forward to with the start of each New Year, is the AME Roundup event, typically held in Vancouver, Canada at the end of January. This event kicks off the annual mineral exploration season and helps get us ready for PDAC in March. This year, COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the drilling world, along with the rest of the world. It has forced our industry to find creative ways to continue doing business and AME Roundup is no exception. That is why we are happy that the event has gone virtual, allowing the global exploration industry to get together safely.
The Association for Mineral Exploration is unveiling Remote Roundup, a virtual experience that will be held from January 18 to 22, 2021. The theme for this year is “Leading Through Change” and the Fordia team is happy to be participating as usual. Attendees and participants will have access to live and on-demand programming. Over the last year, we have all learned how much can be done online so this conference will be great.
Over the last year, our level of collaboration with Epiroc has increased dramatically, so at Remote Roundup, you will be able to meet virtually with members from both Fordia and Epiroc teams. Our team members will be available to answer questions and discuss new products. You will also be able to book time with them for one-on-one meetings.
Of course, we are planning on introducing some new products such as the Rotating Pump Through (RPT) stuffing box. This is a great product for underground and up-hole drilling, but unlike other stuffing boxes, it offers some great advantages that help save time and money. Make sure to ask our team about it and keep your eyes open for an upcoming blog about this product.
